Frequently asked questions about virtual reality
How much does it cost ?
At VR & Co., we charge based on the time spent in the headset, no matter what experience(s) and how many you chose to play. It starts at 9€ for 15 minutes of Virtual Reality (VR) "test session" (no online booking) to 30€ for 50 minutes per person. We also organize contests and special events regularlyu on our Facebook and Instragram and there is a 5€ discount for students or during happy hour (before 17h, call us to book).
How many players can play together ?
Our games accept from 1 to 8 players in the same environment depending on the game. We also have one experience that can go up to 11 players (On Mars) but reserved to advanced players. For 8 players, you will typically play "paintball" type of experiences or Ragnarock, a drakkar race based on rythm. At 3 or 4, there is more diversity in the types of games we offer (escape games, tower defense) and in solo or for 2 players, we can offer more than 40 different types of experiences that cover pretty much any type of games you can imagine ! ;)
Should I book online?
It's safer to save your slot, especially if you come in group, but you can also call us so we confirm our availabilities and book the space for you.
What type of equipment / Headset do you use ?
We typically use 2 types of headset mostly: Valve Index (it's the latest headset from Valve with knuckles controllers that detect the pressure of each of your fingers) and Oculus Rift S, lighter but a bit more "classic" with lower resolution, this is the latest headset from Oculus (Facebook). To play in VR, you only need this equipment.
Do you have games or experiences in VR for beginners ?
Yes ! Don't hesitate to come and test and let us know if you have any specific concerns. An experience like "The Blu", is perfectly adapted to discover VR without any risk of nausea or anything. For more dynamic games, Ragnarock and Beat Saber are also very good for beginners as they do not require any specific movements or usage of the buttons on the knuckles.
